Engagement Session: Sunset at Oatlands

We’re back! It’s been a couple months since we last posted, but hey, cut us some slack - it’s the height of wedding season! We’re kicking off November with an engagement session from August, featuring future bride and groom Claire and Andrew. Their session took place during sunset at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens. If you’ve never heard of Oatlands, you may not know that it’s located in Leesburg, VA, and it was actually built in 1810! There are many pieces of Oatlands’ property, including the Estate itself, the gardens, the Bachelor’s Cottage, the Carriage House, a greenhouse and many barns and farm buildings. The greenhouse on the property is said to be the longest standing greenhouse in the South - pretty crazy! Needless to say, this venue is a special one, and we had the best time shooting with Claire and Andrew. See some of our favorite shots from the session below!
